Brain strokes are the 2nd most common cause of death in India. Yet, the awareness surrounding this deadly cerebrovascular disease is sadly poor. Our Stroke Awareness Walk in Vijayawada was organised on October 29, 2023, to change just that. The health-centric initiative saw people from all walks of life including distinguished neurologists participate in spreading the critical role of timely action in the prevention and management of stroke. The free neurology check-up services offered over the next 1 week further extend our commitment to spreading awareness on Strokes.
