Kamineni Hospitals provides life-saving care to over 1,300 accident victims in a year
Every minute counts after an accident. At Kamineni Hospitals, the trauma team sees this truth unfold every single day. Over the past year, the emergency department at our LB Nagar branch treated more than 1,300 accident victims, that’s nearly a hundred people every month whose lives were changed in an instant.
On World Trauma Day, our doctors came together to remind everyone how small choices on the road can make a big difference. Dr K Venkata Ramana, Head of Emergency and Critical Care, shared that 126 patients needed immediate surgery, 561 required ICU care and 306 received emergency blood transfusions. Most of these cases involved two-wheelers, often without helmets.
Dr Pailla Naveen Reddy, Consultant Emergency Physician, spoke about Kamineni’s 24×7 trauma response system. From a dedicated team and fully equipped emergency unit to trained ambulance staff and a round-the-clock blood bank, every life gets the urgency it deserves. Because for us, saving lives is a commitment we live every day.
