On August 13th, as we observe World Organ Donation Day, Kamineni Hospitals is proud to launch a powerful initiative to raise awareness and encourage organ donation. The event featured Additional DGP V.C. Sajjanar, who has pledged to donate his organs and urged others to follow suit. His heartfelt commitment underscores the vital role organ donation plays in saving lives, with the potential to save up to eight lives through each donation.

Kamineni Hospitals COO Gayatri Kamineni also spoke passionately about the urgent need for organ donors, highlighting that over 14,000 individuals are currently waiting for organ transplants. She emphasized the selfless act of organ donation as a way to provide hope and a second chance at life to many.

In an effort to make the donation process seamless, we are excited to introduce a new QR code system. Simply scan the code, fill out the form, and become an organ donor with just a few clicks. We’ve also set up a digital kiosk within our hospital to facilitate on-site registrations, and donors will receive a ‘Proud Organ Donor’ card via WhatsApp.
