About: : Dr. Prasanth Gurijala is a Senior Consultant General Surgeon at Kamineni Hospitals, LB Nagar, Hyderabad, specialising in advanced laparoscopic surgery, hernia surgery, laser proctology and Laser – Radiofrequency ablation treatment of varicose veins . With over 15 years of experience in general surgery, minimally invasive surgery and surgical education, he has performed more than 1,000 laparoscopic surgeries. His clinical expertise includes hernias, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, anorectal disorders, varicose veins, thyroid and breast conditions, abdominal wall problems, and complex general and emergency surgery. His specialised procedures include laparoscopic hernia repair, wall reconstruction, laser treatment for piles, fissure and fistula, and minimally invasive varicose vein treatment using laser, radiofrequency and glue therapy. Dr. Gurijala previously served as Professor & Head of the Department of General Surgery at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Hyderabad.
