Mrs. Bhagyasree, 45, Homemaker
Full Story
When I was 28, my first pregnancy had ended in an unfortunate miscarriage through what the doctors called pregnancy-induced pre-eclampsia. I also had a ruptured ovarian cyst for which I was treated thereafter.
When in 2016 I conceived again, I was extra vigilant as I suffered from Cerebro Vascular Sinus Thrombosis (CVST) and was on anticoagulants. All went well for nearly 9 months until one Saturday evening, when I felt a sharp, uncharacteristic pain in my abdomen.
I was rushed into the ER at Kamineni Hospitals in preterm labour and immediately scheduled for a C-section. The team led by Dr. Menaka, maintained a delicate balance with anticoagulants to ensure that I wouldn’t bleed excessively – to protect both me and my child.
With Kamineni Hospitals’ relentless efforts I was able to deliver a healthy girl, and life has been brighter since.
